CHODESH ADAR BET: A FAITH-BUILDING DOUBLE ECLIPSE SEASON

The second half of the Double Adar season is upon us! Increased joy gave us strength during Adar Aleph; joy reinforces our faith during Adar Bet, keeping us afloat when others may be sinking.

Adar Bet begins on the New Moon in Pisces, and Venus/Noga enters Pisces on Rosh Chodesh Day 2,  with Mars/Ma’adim following March 22. The transformative emotional energy fuels our interpersonal relationships, urging us to meld into undifferentiated, blissful One-Ness. Venus conjuncts Saturn/Shabbtai in Pisces March 21, saving us from altogether losing our boundaries.

The pleasure principle is activated when Venus sextiles Jupiter/Tzedek on Purim, and the Libra Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on Shushan Purim. It’s almost as if anything goes … until it goes wrong! Monkey business and trusting “luck” proves unwise. With the Sun in Aries from Tekufah Nissan /The Spring Equinox March 19/20 onward, don’t mistake reckless impulses for courage.

A Penumbral Lunar Eclipse (Sun in Aries, Full Moon in Libra) on Shushan Purim makes a hard square to the modern State of Israel's natal Venus/Noga, as well as to her natal Parts of Fortune in Capricorn. In the USA's natal chart, the eclipse point is a hard square to America's natal Jupiter/Tzedek in Cancer. This may indicate a political issue with America's financial aid to Israel.

Mercury/Kochav stations Retrograde in Aries at the Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn, April 1. Plucky declarations meet practical realities. The less you say, the more you’ll gain. The April 3 conjunction of Venus to Neptune/Rahav in Pisces is the stuff that dreams are made of.

Double Adar season climaxes April 8, Erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan, at the New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse in Aries. For individuals, a new vision is triggered wherever Aries is placed in one’s chart. In the Modern State of Israel’s natal chart, this occurs at her DC/7th House Cusp – the place of partners, and relationships to “others”. In the USA’s natal chart, it’s conjunct Chiron and opposite Saturn. Will there be a rupture in the Israel/US relationship? Or, when the light re-emerges, will both partners see themselves and each other in a new way? “Without a vision, the people perish”. Let’s hope and pray for a new vision for all of us.
