CHESHVAN 5784: CALLING UPON OUR ANCESTRAL SUPERPOWERS

On Simchat Torah the end is joined to the beginning; the last letter in the Torah is a Lamed and the first letter a Bet; together they spell “Lev”, which means heart. Our hearts are broken by the tremendous horrors that began on the last Shabbat of our annual Torah reading. “Am Yisrael”, the People of Israel, is as one spiritual entity throughout time/space/history.
