OK my Yidden, here's the schedule for the rest of the Jewish Year of 5784.
5784, Tav Shin Pei Dalet, just as I predicted, has truly been a "Dalet" year, ruled by Mars, the planet of warfare, and exposing our true poverty - Dalet indicates "poor" - how many thing, people, institutions, alliances, etc. have we lost or discovered we never really belonged to? Our true poverty is exposed to us, reminding us that we have nothing to rely on except Our Father in Heaven.
- Starting today: About 5 weeks of time off from holidays. Try to snatch a little happiness from the jaws of depression, despair & discouragement. Permission to have "fun" granted - whatever "fun" might look like right now. Not a bad idea to grab a little joy.
- TWO Full Moons in Capricorn this year: June 21 (1 degree Capricorn) and July 21 (29 degrees Capricorn). Unusual? Yes. Capricorn's planetary ruler Saturn / Shabbtai is traditionally understood to be the planetary ruler of the Jewish People (if we had one, which we don't, but if we did it would be Saturn). Meanwhile, Saturn's transit through Pisces goes Retrograde from June 29 - November 13, meaning Saturn will be RX the rest of the year of 5784. Learn the lesson of Saturn's transit through Pisces, or be forced to repeat it.
- The Three Weeks (17 Tammuz - 9 Av): Starts off with the Sun in Leo opposite Pluto in Aquarius. On a global scale that's a power conflict between collective rights and individual responsibilities. On a social level: More emotional and spiritual upsetness, some unnecessarily self-inflicted, but maybe this year something good will come of it.
- The last Mercury Retrograde of 5784 from Aug. 4 (Erev Rosh Chodesh Av) - Aug. 28, in Virgo/Leo. Bound to be nasty as all Mercury RX's involving the Mercury-ruled signs of either Gemini or Virgo always are. Don't take chances with valuable data.
- Tisha b'Av. International pan-generational day of mourning for what could have been, what might have been, what wasn't, and what may be. Official climax of the communal pity party. The bottle of G*d's remembrance is already overflowing with our tears.
- Tu b'Av. Happens on the astronomical "Blue Moon" (this year the Full Moon in Aquarius). A time of intense potentiality! Venus opposite Saturn, the Sun square Uranus, and the first Square of Jupiter and Saturn since their 2020 conjunction. Don't be surprised if this day triggers a lot of sudden changes.
- Rosh Chodesh Elul begins the evening of September 2 (aka "Labor Day" in America). Grab those Shofars and blow! This year the Ashkenazim *should* take a page from the Sephardic playbook and start Slichot at the beginning of Elul, but since nobody takes my suggestions seriously, they won't. Though it would be a great powerful spiritual success if they would.
- Chodesh Elul, the month of teshuva, from September 3- October 2). Last chance to get our individual acts together before You Know What. "The King is in the Field" but are we?
- October 2: Erev Rosh HaShanah 5784, New Moon in Libra, Annular solar Eclipse. The flip side of the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse in Aries on Erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan. Remember what Ibn Ezra our great Sage says about Aries & Libra and how the whole of the Jewish Year hangs on these two opposite Cardinal signs (Yehuda is Aries, Ephraim is Libra, Ephraim is Joseph and recall the "Two Sticks" of Yehuda and Yosef being merged into one), just as the Ephod of the High Priest hangs on the two shoulder straps.
- 5785: The Hebrew Year of Tav Shin Pei HEI. MUCH more to come at a later day as to the deep spiritual significance of this incredibly important " ה " year. But to give you a taste: think about the power of the letter Hei. The Upper Hei and the Lower Hei of the 4-letter Divine Name.
May we all be blessed with strength and wisdom during these troubled times, and may the light of revelation break through all this horrific gloom.
