Venus/Noga Retrograde in Leo from July 22 – September 4 of this year, begins at 28 degrees Leo, travels back to 12 degrees Leo, and returns to her original retrograde place by October 9.
The retrograde process really began in shadow around June 10, when Venus was at 12 degrees Leo. So in all, the entire pre and post-retrograde shadow and substance period is from June 10 – October 9. That’s an entire quarter of this year!
Venus has her retrograde periods about every 8 years, and since 1959, she has retrograded in Leo 9 times, including the upcoming RX period.

Venus won’t be retrograde in Leo again until July 2031. At that time her retrograde will be from 28 to 10 degrees Leo, and back again.
Venus rules romantic love, partnership, diplomacy, all of the arts, money and wealth, beauty, pleasure, aesthetic senses, personal taste, values, and valuables. Venus in Leo is lavish, dramatic, passionate, possessive, jealous, elegant, extravagant, confident, and affectionate. They’re hungry for attention, praise, adoration, and ravenous for respect.
