CHODESH SHEVAT: THE QUEST FOR SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT
The Tikkun for Chodesh Shevat is eating. What spiritual nutrients does a soul need for good health? The B’nai Yissachar reminds us that the D’li, the Water Bucket of Aquarius/Shevat, is the servant of the water, just as Israel is the servant of the Torah. Our job is to serve nourishing, living waters to all who thirst. WE are the D’li!
Chodesh Shevat begins with a New Moon in Capricorn, with Venus/Noga trine “Wounded Healer” Chiron. Saturn/Shabbtai is trine Jupiter/Tzedek and sextile Mars/Ma’adim. This is a tremendous setup for mature, courageous action.
An upsurge in energy on January 12 when Mars trines Jupiter fills us with hope, leading into Shabbos Bo, when the Sun and Pluto enter Aquarius. This triggers the “Great Conjunction” Point of December 2020, the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at 0 degrees Aquarius (for the first time since 1405). This event was/is the harbinger of the transformation of society over the next 20 years, and every time a planet connects with that sensitive point, the winds of change blow even harder.
The Full Moon in Leo on Tu b’Shevat, with Mars square to Chiron, wants a sustainable, loyal love. January 26 sees a supersized square of the Sun to Jupiter. Mercury/Kochav squares Chiron, conjuncts Mars, and trines Uranus/Oron from January 26-29. Surprising, unexpected news brings passionate, assertive responses.
Cooperative diplomatic solutions appear when Venus conjuncts Mars and trines Jupiter January 27-28. If positive, the trine of Mars to Uranus January 29 pushes everything forward; if not, tough love is called for by February 5, when Mercury conjuncts Pluto.
