Saturn in Pisces: A Big, Slippery Fish
Saturn/Shabbtai, the planet of structure, boundaries, order, organization, timekeeping, and self-control enters Pisces, the Mutable Water Sign, on Purim, March 7.
Saturn is a boundary-builder, and Pisces is all about dissolving boundaries. Saturn is about knowledge and Pisces is about faith and belief. Saturn is about hard work; Pisces is about luck and intuition. Saturn needs structure, and Pisces thrive in chaos. Saturn is certainty, Pisces is ambivalence. Saturn is stability, Pisces is destabilization. Saturn is about unvarnished reality, Pisces is imaginative fantasy. Saturn is sobriety, Pisces is intoxication. Saturn restricts, Pisces undermines restrictions. Saturn is pragmatic, Pisces are hopeful.
Saturn’s transit through Pisces during the next 2 ½ years will challenge us to test our dreams for viability.
Our dependence on certainties in the social structure we’ve taken for granted will be shaken.
We’ll be asked to take big leaps of faith, and those unaccustomed to exercising their faith will be quite sore.
We’ll learn to live in ambivalence and ambiguity without overwhelm.
We’ll develop a new relationship with the concept of chaos, and we will learn what Anais Nin knew: “Chaos is rich, chaos is fecund”.
We will learn how to recalibrate for distorted perceptions. Psychedelics will become mainstream medicine.
The already completely destabilized status-quo will flow into a new, emerging shape.
Hope will be the most valuable commodity.
The last Saturn in Pisces generation, those born between late January 1994 and early April 1996, will redefine their collective mythology.
Practical magic will make a big comeback.
